Recruiters ... evil or necessary, or necessary evil?

Recruiters … evil or necessary, or necessary evil?

If you ask most executives, I think the most common answer to that question would be “necessary evil.” But are they evil? Are they necessary? My answers are no – and yes.

How you answer the above questions may depend on …

— Your understanding of what recruiters do and what they do not do; and

— Whether you’ve built recruiter relationships BEFORE you needed them, or your seeking to use them while in the midst of a desperate job search.
